Pussy Cat and Pussy Kid
This one was painted by modern Russian painter Alexander Shilov (1943 -
). The painting is called "Violetta with Cat". The name of the main subject
isn't written probably because she is very shy, she is even facing away
from the painter. Shyness, with the odd exception is not a feature normally
present in a cat. Anyway the name of the cat will forever remain a mystery
(probably, anyway). One of my friends told me his cousin once met a Birman
that was acquainted with a pal of the father of the uncle of the cat in
the picture, but that is not much help because the name of that cat is
still unknown.
