The Alaskan Snow Cat is a new breed developed
in the United States in the 1990s. Several breeders in Florida and Minnesota
have been working towards producing a heavy-boned cat with thick silvery
fur and a round head, similar to the Siberian Forest Cat (Why? Isn't the
Siberian enough?). This has been achieved by crossing between Somalis and
Silver Persians. Further information is welcome.
