A beautiful cat with a tightly curled coat. In short-haired examples it has an ‘Afro’ look, but in longer-haired versions the coat forms into very tight ringlets. Sometimes it is called the Alpaca Cat. It is a quite new breed from the US, officially registered in 1995 by TICA. All color forms are allowed. 
    Dalles La Perm is said to be  extremely affectionate and easy-going. It is still a rare breed.
