A similar development to the Colorpoint British Shorthair . Created in Italy in 1982, the typical European Shorthair was successfully given a Siamese pointed coat-pattern, without altering its character or anatomy in any other way. Despite its oriental coloring, the breed remains a stocky, quiet Shorthair Cat. We would be grateful for any further infomation and photos.
